DGU Inter-Club Championships
Saturday sees the culmination of the season long campaign which saw 227 players from our member clubs playing in 11 matchplay competitions.
The finals for all the competitions will take place at Hayston Golf Club on Saturday afternoon.
In the junior competitions, Lenzie are to be congratulated on having 4 players in the finals with our host club having 2 players. It is great to see that we had 5 junior competitions this year.
It will be a new name on the Seniors Scratch trophy with James Robertson (Clober) playing Paul Cannell (Westerwood).
The very competitive 4 man team competition sees Douglas Park playing Palacerigg.
In the premier Champion of Champions match, Chris Clark (Bearsden) will be looking to add to his success in the Matchplay Championship when he takes on Alan Russell (Clydebank Overtoun).
