A great day for Balmore’s Chris MacLean who has made it to Friday’s quarter finals.

Chris beat Scott Brown 2&1 in his morning match and then had a great victory by 1 hole over joint leading qualifier Calum Fyfe from Cawder.

Chris now plays George Burns from Williamwood on Friday morning.

James Wilson (Balmore) won his morning match against Marc Watt 2&1 but lost in the afternoon to Sam Locke from Banchory.

Steven Stewart (Clydebank & District) narrowly lost by 1 hole to the experienced Matt Clark from Kilmacolm.
