Another good day for James Wilson (Balmore) who along with Jim Johnston won his morning foursomes match 6&5 followed by an afternoon's singles victory by 1 hole over Lewys Sanges.
Scotland won the match to finish in 3rd place behind winners England and 2nd placed Ireland.
Well done to Jack Pike (Ralston) who was joint 5th with rounds of 73 & 75 in the Glasgow Youths Open Championship at Ralston last weekend. Lachlan Reynolds (Hilton Park) was 1 stroke further behind with Ian Taggart (Lenzie) making up our team.
The Area championship was won by Stirlingshire with a total of 290.
Congratulations to James Wilson (Balmore) the winner of this year's Order of Merit with 499 points. Second was Scott Moore (Clydebank & District) with 242 points and third was Steven Stewart (Clydebank & District) with 205 points.
