Congratulations to Ian Taggart (Lenzie) and Lachlan Reynolds (Hilton Park) who have both qualified for the matchplay stages starting on Sunday. Ian was 7th qualifier with rounds of 76 and 73. Lachlan had a great second round 71 to recover from an opening 83.
Steven leads the East of Scotland Open by 3 shots after the opening 36 holes at Lundin Golf Club. Excellent rounds of 67 and 68 have put Steven in a great position. Currently lying 6th in the Scottish Order of Merit we wish Steven all the best for the final 36 holes on Sunday.
Congratulations to Chris MacLean (Balmore) on winning the Tennant Cup at Glasgow Golf Club. Chris was level with holder Matthew Clark (Kilmacolm) going into the final 9 holes but birdies at 13, 15 and 17 saw him win the 72 hole event by 3 shots.
