Congratulations to Iain MacCalman (Clober) who won a very closely contested final against Craig Bisset (Dumbarton) tonight at Milngavie Golf Club.
The postponed semi-finals have now been played and the final will be between Iain MacCalman (Clober) and Craig Bisset (Dumbarton) on a date to be arranged.

Congratulations to Ian Taggart, Lenzie, for a very fine 6th place in yesterday's Championship at East Kilbride. Ian shot a 36 hole total of 148 only 2 shots behind the winner, Gregg Brown of Cathkin Braes, and only lost out on 4th place on a count back.
A difficult opening match for our team who lost 8-0 away to Renfrewshire in blustery conditions at Ranfurly Castle Golf Club. In particular our younger players found the conditions difficult to master but they will all benefit from the experience.
The next match is against Ayrshire at Dumbarton Golf Club on the 23rd June.
