It's the long journey home for our boys I'm afraid as we didn't make it into the top 8 teams.
Great afternoon rounds, though, from Steven Stewart (Clydebank & District) -4 and Ian MacCalman (Clober) -3.
Great to see that we have 3 players in the current top 10 of the national order of merit. Some tremendous performances in August by all 3 players.
Steven Stewart (Clydebank & District) is in 4th place after a 3rd place finish in the Leven Gold Medal.
James Wilson (Balmore) is in 6th place following a 4th…
We now have the finalists in the Champion of Champions.
Neil Hansen (Clober) will be playing Daniel Muir (Hayston) in the final at Milngavie Golf Club on Saturday 30th September.
We now have the finalists in the Handicap Championship and the Junior Champion of Champions.
In the Handicap Championship, Grant Pearce (Clober) will be playing Johnny McKechnie (Dumbarton).
In the Junior Championship, Kieran Quinn (Clydebank & District) will be playing Ian Taggart (Lenzie).
The finals will be played at Milngavie Golf Club on Saturday 30th September.
Scottish Men's Club Championship, Sunday 24th September 2017 @ Eastwood
We are being represented by the 2017 Wylie Trophy winners, Balmore Golf Club. This is a repeat of last year when Balmore won the Scottish Championship and went on to become runners-up in the European Tournament.
Representing Balmore will be Chris MacLean, James Wilson and Niall Lamond.
