Due to the difficulties in organising competitions this year, the 2020 Championship will be a shorter event and will be held over 18 holes in the afternoon of Sunday 27th September at Hilton Park Golf Club (Hilton course).

A decision on the Matchplay Championship will be made once the entries for the Strokeplay championship are known but potentially the top 8 will qualify with the final being played at a neutral venue during October.

The main competition is a scratch event although there will be prizes for the best net scores. The event is open to members of clubs within the Area having a handicap of 12 or less. For this event entrants will be accepted under the age of 18 provided they hold a handicap of 5 or less. The event will be counting for handicap purposes.

Entries by email to secretary@dgu.org.uk by 5pm on Monday 21st September. Details of your entry to include name, home club and CDH number. The draw will be published on our website and sent to players along with current guidelines for players in open competitions.

The entry fee of £15 will be collected by card payment at the event.
