DGU team and coaching college member Lachlan Reynolds has enjoyed a great season having been part of the Hilton Park team to lift the Andy Kellock Cup (for the second year in a row!), in the winning squad for the JJ.McCarry League (for the second year in a row!), and winning the American Golf National Junior Championship at Gainsborough, Lincolnshire!
Lachlan also played at The Mere in Knutsford earlier in the year and consequently qualified for the European Golf Junior Tour Grand Final in Spain which was held at the end of October.
The field in Spain was very strong, with eight Under 18 national players making the final at Mijas Costa. The grand final was made up of 3 rounds, with Lachlan shooting a 76 on the Santana, 75 on the Mijas and a fantastic score of 2 under-par 70 at the Torrequebrada. It was the final day round of scintillating golf that secured Lachlan the title; winning by 4 shots.
