DGU Summer Meeting Results

Congratulations to Kieran Quinn (Clydebank & District) who won the Summer Meeting at Windyhill on a very blustery day.
Kieran shot a very fine 3 under par 68 to finish one shot ahead of Ian MacCalman (Clober) with David Allan (Lenzie) in 3rd place.
Kieran and Iain also led the way in the handicap competition but, on the only one prize per player rule, the handicap voucher winners are Stuart Graham (Cardross) and Alex McLean (Dumbarton).
In the Junior Stableford Competition the winner with 37 points was Rory Farquhar (Douglas Park) on a better inward half from Fraser Kemp (Lenzie).
Many thanks to Windyhill Golf Club for hosting the competition, especially Michael and Caroline for all their help. The greens were in great condition so many thanks to the greenkeeping team.
Prize vouchers will be issued over the following week.
NB In the results it is the players’ home club that is shown but all players are members of a DGU affiliated club.
