Ewen won his match against Alexander Herrmann of Germany by 2 holes and progresses to the last 32 where he plays fellow Scot Alasdair McDougal from Elderslie.

Chris played Ivan Cantero from Spain and put up a great performance before going down by 2 holes. Ivan is the highest-ranked remaining player in the field and is fifth in the World Amateur Golf RankingTM. The Spaniard has two wins this season at the Copa Andalucia and the French Amateur Championship.
