The result was a half match which was a good result in this transitional year when we have been bringing in new players.

Week 2 of his year's campaign saw victory in Division 1 for Lenzie over Bishopbriggs (5:3) and in Division 2 Hilton Park had an away win against Milngavie (4.5:3.5)

The Inter-Club Knockout Championship draws have now been sent to the players and are also available on our website at www.dgu.org.uk in the Competitions and Juniors sections.
The draw for the junior handicap competition has been split into 2 flights due to the high number of entries and will be published later in the week.
The annual match between our boys and the West of Scotland Girls took place on Sunday at Lenzie Golf Club.
The weather was very kind to the teams and the course was in great condition.
A win for the boys now puts then 2:1 up in the series and no doubt the girls will be looking for…

The initial meeting of local clubs taking part in this year’s competition took place last night.
DGU clubs taking part are, Bearsden, Clober, Douglas Park, Helensburgh, Hilton Park and Milngavie. Along with Bishopbriggs and Dougalston they will play in 2 leagues with the winners going to the regional final at Mearns Castle on the 18th September.
